8 октября 2025 года состоялось второе заседание СНК патофизиологии на тему «Особенности планирования экспериментальной научной работы. Знакомство с лабораториями НИИ общей патологии и лабораторией биохимии и фундаментального канцерогенеза НИИ экспериментальной медицины». Ответственные преподаватели – к.м.н., доц. С.А. Додонова, к.м.н., доц. А.О. Ворвуль.

Первая часть заседания прошла в лаборатории НИИ общей патологии. Лаборатория включает в себя три направления: общей патофизиологии, микробиологии и магнитобиологии, патофизиологии сердца. В ходе заседания к.м.н, доц. Антон Олегович Ворвуль, старший научный сотрудник лаборатории, рассказал студентам о современном оборудовании лаборатории и продемонстрировал его работу на практике. Кружковцы познакомились с основными научными направлениями НИИ общей патологии и получили представление о методиках, используемых при экспериментальных исследованиях.

Особое внимание было уделено поведенческим тестам на лабораторных животных. На макете крысы куратор СНК показал и объяснил: тест горячей пластины, тест механического раздражения лапки, методика оценки поведения в темной/светлой камере, методику агрессивного поведения крысы при неизбегаемом электроболевом раздражении, исследования поведения в крестообразном лабиринте. Данные тесты ярко иллюстрируют, как механические, физические, химические факторы влияют на общее состояние животных, вызывая ответные реакции в виде воспаления и стресс-реакций. Также были изложены подходы к изучению тревожности и депрессивного поведения у крыс.

Вторая часть заседания СНК состоялась в лаборатории НИИ биохимии и фундаментального канцерогенеза. К.м.н, доц. Светлана Александровна Додонова, старший научный сотрудник лаборатории, познакомила студентов с основными научными направлениями и методами работы: исследование биохимических показателей, изучение фундаментального канцерогенеза, механизмы развития лекарственной резистентности различных видов опухолей, оценка влияния наночастиц на клетки организма. Кружковцы осмотрели лабораторное оборудование и внимательно послушали об этапах проведения исследований.

По итогам заседания участники СНК получили практическое представление об экспериментальной работе и современных методах, применяемых в лабораториях НИИ общей патологии и НИИ экспериментальной медицины. Сотрудники лабораторий пригласили заинтересованных студентов присоединиться к научной деятельности.

On October 8, 2025, the second meeting of the Student Scientific Club in Pathophysiology took place on the topic «Peculiarities of planning experimental scientific work. Introduction to the laboratories of the Research Institute of General Pathology and the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Fundamental Carcinogenesis of the Research Institute of Experimental Medicine». Responsible instructors: Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor S.A. Dodonova, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor A.O. Vorvul.

The first part of the meeting was held in the Laboratory of the Research Institute of General Pathology. The Laboratory of General Pathology comprises three divisions: General Pathophysiology, Microbiology and Magnetobiology, and Cardiac Pathophysiology. During the session, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Anton Olegovich Vorvul, senior research fellow of the laboratory, presented the laboratory’s modern equipment and demonstrated its practical use. Club members familiarized themselves with the main research directions of the Institute and gained an understanding of the methods used in experimental studies.

Special attention was paid to behavioral tests on laboratory animals. Using a rat model, the SSC supervisor demonstrated and explained the following: the hot plate test; mechanical paw-stimulation test; the light–dark box test; assessment of aggressive behavior in rats under inescapable electric nociceptive stimulation; and behavioral testing in the cross-shaped maze (plus-maze). These tests vividly illustrate how mechanical, physical, and chemical factors affect the general condition of laboratory animals, eliciting responses such as inflammation and stress. Approaches to studying anxiety- and depression-like behaviors in rats were also discussed.

The second part of the SSC meeting took place in the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Fundamental Carcinogenesis. Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Svetlana Alexandrovna Dodonova, senior research fellow of the laboratory, introduced students to the main research directions and methods: analysis of biochemical parameters; investigation of fundamental mechanisms of carcinogenesis; mechanisms of development of drug resistance in various tumor types; and assessment of the effects of nanoparticles on cells. Club members inspected the laboratory equipment and attentively learned about the stages of the experimental procedures.

As a result of the meeting, SSC participants acquired practical insight into experimental work and modern methods applied in the laboratories of the Research Institute of General Pathology and the Research Institute of Experimental Medicine. Laboratory staff invited interested students to join ongoing research activities.
