Визит делегации Курского государственного медицинского университета в Малайзию продолжился посещением Государственного университета Малайзии в штате Сабах.

20 февраля 2018 года ректор КГМУ, заслуженный врач Российской Федерации, депутат Курской областной Думы, доктор медицинских наук, профессор В.А. Лазаренко и советник при ректорате к.т.н. М.Т. Шехине посетили Государственный университет Малайзии, расположенный в штате Сабах. Члены делегации ознакомились с университетом, встретились с деканом медицинского факультета и директором университетской клиники.

В ходе беседы с руководством Государственного университета Малайзии в штате Сабах были синхронизированы позиции в области академического обмена студентами и преподавателями, определена тематика лекционного материала для обмена, высказан взаимный интерес в проведении совместных научных исследований в области тропической медицины и онкологии, совместном участии в грантовых программах «Ньютон Фонда».

Для ректора КГМУ профессора В.А. Лазаренко провели экскурсию по кафедрам анатомии, гистологии, физиологии. При посещении кафедр состоялись встречи с преподавателями и студентами, прошла дискуссия по особенностям преподавания фундаментальных дисциплин в Малайзии и России.

По итогам встречи был подписан договор о намерениях.

Visiting the State University of Malaysia

The visit of the Kursk state medical university delegation to Malaysia continued with a visit to the State Universityof Malaysia in Sabah.

On February 20, 2018 the rector of KSMU, Honored Physician of the Russian Federation, Deputy of the Kursk regional Duma, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor V.A. Lazarenko and the Rectorate Advisor Candidate of Technical Sciences M.T. Chahine visited the State University of Malaysia, located in the state of Sabah. The members of the delegation got acquainted with the university, met with the dean of the medical faculty and the director of the university clinic.

In the course of the conversation with the leaders of the State University of Malaysia in Sabah the positions in the field of academic exchange of students and teachers were synchronized, the topics of the lecture material for exchange were designated, mutual interest in joint scientific research in the field of tropical medicine and oncology was expressed, as well as in joint participation in "Newton Foundation" grant programs.

The rector of KSMU Professor V.A. Lazarenkowas given a tour of the departments of anatomy, histology, physiology. While visiting the departments, the guests met with teachers and students, had a discussion on the peculiarities of teaching fundamental disciplines in Malaysia and Russia.

As a result ofthe meeting, an agreement of intent was signed.
