17 августа 2023 г., накануне годовщины победы в Курской битве, студенты Международного медицинского института КГМУ с преподавателями Озеровой Е.Н, Шумаковой А.М. и Гладышевой А.В.  посетили мемориал «Курская дуга» и парк «Патриот». Пешеходная экскурсия началась перед входом в арку, где находится памятник поминовения 443 расстрелянных здесь гражданина. Кроме того, обучающиеся из Малайзии и Ботсваны увидели храм Георгия Победоносца, братскую могилу, над которой установили скульптурную композицию с Вечным огнем, памятник четырежды Герою Советского Союза маршалу Георгию Константиновичу Жукову. 

Особый интерес студентов вызвала аллея военной техники, где представлены разные виды танков и орудий, участвовавших в сражении на Курской дуге: гаубица, пушки, реактивная установка «Катюша».

Стоит отметить, что молодые люди с большим вниманием слушали рассказ о военных событиях прошлого века и смогли прочувствовать, что значит для России и каждого русского человека победа в ВОВ.

OBSERVING THE HISTORY OF THE KURSK BATTLE

On August 17, 2023 on the eve of the anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Kursk, International Medical Institute KSMU students with teachers Ozerova E.N., Shumakova A.M. and Gladysheva A.V. visited the memorial "Kursk Bulge" and the Patriot Park. The excursion began in front of the entrance to the arch, where there is a monument commemorating 443 citizens shot here. In addition, students from Malaysia and Botswana saw the Church of St. George, a mass grave, over which a sculptural composition with Eternal Flame was installed, a monument to the four-time Hero of the Soviet Union Marshal Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov.

Students were particularly interested in the alley of military equipment, where different types of tanks and guns that participated in the battle on the Kursk Bulge are presented: howitzer, cannons, Katyusha rocket launcher.

It is worth mentioning that young people were listening to the story of the military events of the last century with great attention and were able to understand what victory in the Great Patriotic War means for Russia and every Russian person.
