“ … NO ONE HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN AND NOTHING HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN”

       Around the world many nations celebrate their own achievements and take pride in their own history. In Russia one of unique and most important days is May 9^th …. Victory Day! It is a day to remember all those who fought bravely, all those who gave their lives so that Russia would be victorious over its enemies. All over the country this day fills us with happiness and pride. But this day is not just a holiday. 9^th of May is the day of memory and honors. On this day, sacred for all of us, we remember with pride and profound gratitude all those who brought an invaluable payment for the peace sky over our head. Their courage, firmness and heroism are a worthy example for all of us. Their feats will remain in our hearts forever.     

       On the 5^th of May 2022, an event took place dedicated to the 77^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. A group of students studying in third year from the International Medical Institute had taken part in this event organized by Department of Pharmacology.

      The event started with a presentation of some facts about the Great patriotic War and Russian songs about War were included. After the presentation the students recite different poems dedicated to Victory Day by Evgeny Yevtushenko, Konstantin Simonov, Olga Bergholz, Bulat Okudzhava, Alexey Surkov, Mikhail Isakovsky in English and Russian languages.

      When the soldiers performed their heroic deeds, they did not think of honours. They thought of their Motherland. This will never be forgotten!
