VICTORY DAY - IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES!

Our country is celebrating a truly important date — the anniversary of the Great Victory. On the eve of this event, a poetic evening dedicated to the anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War was held at the Department of Pharmacology. The moderators of the meeting were Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacology I.A. Tatarenkova and senior lecturer of the Department of Pharmacology V.Y. Tsepelev.

Foreign students enthusiastically responded to the offer to contribute to the celebration of Victory Day. The meeting brought together more than 50 third-year students from Nigeria, Maldives, Malaysia, Brazil, Sri Lanka, India. Students read excerpts of poems about the war in English and Russian. Especially for the Great Day, young people learned difficult texts for them.

"Wait for me and I'll be back" by K. Simonov, "The Ballad of the Mother" by A. Dementiev, "Remember!" by E. Asadov, "Cranes" by R. Gamzatov and other wonderful works could be heard performed by foreign students. Wartime songs became a lyrical addition to the poems. They are very melodic, and even in Russian they could not leave foreign students indifferent. Victory Day is a sacred holiday for all of us. That is why it is so important to keep the connection between generations and remember the people who gave their lives for our future. Knowledge of the history of Russia is one of the main tasks that foreign students set themselves. It was such a meeting that helped to feel what this great holiday means for Russia.
