В Курском государственном медицинском университете по инициативе ректора, заслуженного врача РФ, заслуженного деятеля науки РФ, доктора медицинских наук, профессора, депутата Курской областной Думы VII созыва, почётного гражданина г. Курска Виктора Анатольевича Лазаренко преподаватели кафедры философии и обучающиеся университета провели мониторинг исследований проблематики возрождения нацизма в XXI веке. 
Итогом работы стала внутривузовская научная конференция «Современный нацизм: истоки, причины, последствия» 18 мая 2022 г., в ходе которой участниками конференции были представлены научные доклады по вопросам возрождения нацизма в мире, фальсификации истории, попытки пересмотра итогов войны, героизация нацистских преступников и коллаборационистов часто используемая недобросовестными политиками как инструмент формирования национальной идентичности стран бывшего советского блока, как инструмент политической борьбы различных политических сил и международного противостояния.
Открыл конференцию ректор КГМУ, профессор Виктор Анатольевич Лазаренко.  Приветствуя участников конференции он отметил, что именно сейчас в нашей стране и в мире необходима консолидация усилий в борьбе с неонацизмом, обозначив главную задачу сегодняшнего образования сделать историю точнее математики, чтобы помнить своё прошлое и не переносить ошибки в настоящее, подчеркнув слова президента РФ Владимира Владимировича Путина – «Россия многонациональная страна и в этом ее сила!».
С приветственным словом к участникам конференции обратился член комитета Совета Федерации о социальной политике, Заслуженный врач РФ, выпускник КГМУ 1978 г. по специальности «лечебное дело» Владимир Игоревич Круглый, подчеркнув важность проделанной работы участниками конференции в целях повышения ответственности молодых поколений за сохранение исторической памяти как борьбы с попытками реабилитировать фашизм в современном мире.
Модератором конференции выступила Е.С. Кравцова доктор ист. наук, профессор кафедры философии, которая затронула проблему зарождения неонацизма в современной Украине. Стоит особо отметить доклады: С.П. Щавелева доктора филос. наук, доктора ист. наук, заведующего кафедрой философии о выявлении в мире нового проявления фашизма, студента А.А.  Алпеева о неусвоенном уроке мировой истории –  Нюрнбергском процессе, ассистент кафедры хирургических болезней № 1, аспирант кафедры ОХиТА, члена СМУ КГМУ А.Г. Терехова о истории нацистского режима на оккупированной территории Курской области в годы ВОв 1941-1945 гг.; студента ММИ Рашиди Мирвайс о динамике распространения неонацизма в современном мире, помощника ректора по безопасности А.И. Салтанова и многих других преподавателей и обучающихся КГМУ.
Участники конференции не просто обсудили: студенты максимально погрузились в тему - исследовали историю и причины страшного явления, психологические истоки, социальные предпосылки нацизма.

SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE "MODERN NAZISM: ORIGINS, CAUSES, CONSEQUENCES" AT KSMU

At Kursk State Medical University, on the Rector`s  initiative, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma of the VII convocation, honorary citizen of Kursk Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko, teachers of the Department of Philosophy and students of the University monitored research on the problems of the revival of Nazism in the XXI century.
The result of the work was the intra-university scientific conference "Modern Nazism: origins, causes, consequences" on May 18, 2022, during which the conference participants presented scientific reports on the revival of Nazism in the world, falsification of history, attempts to revise the results of the war, the glorification of Nazi criminals and collaborators often used by unscrupulous politicians as a tool for the formation of national identity of countries the former Soviet bloc, as an instrument of political struggle of various political forces and international confrontation.
The conference was opened by the rector of KSMU, Professor Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko. Welcoming the participants of the conference, he noted that now  it is  necessary  to consolidate efforts in the fight against neo–Nazism in our country and abroad, outlining the main task of today's education to make history more accurate than mathematics in order to remember their past and not to transfer mistakes to the present, emphasizing the words of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin - "Russia is a multinational country and in this its power!".
Vladimir Igorevich Krugly, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, graduate of KSMU in 1978 with a degree in medical science, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of the work done by the conference participants in order to increase the responsibility of young generations for preserving historical memory as a fight against attempts to rehabilitate fascism in the modern world.
The moderator of the conference was E.S. Kravtsova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Philosophy, who touched upon the problem of the emergence of neo-Nazism in modern Ukraine. It is worth noting the reports of: S.P. Shchavelev, Doctor of Philos. of Sciences, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department of Philosophy on the identification of a new manifestation of fascism in the world, student A.A. Alpeev on the undeveloped lesson of world history – the Nuremberg process, assistant of the Department of Surgical Diseases No. 1, graduate student of the Department of OHITA, member of SMU KSMU A.G. Terekhov about the history of the Nazi regime in the occupied territory of the Kursk region during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945; a student of IMI Rashidi Mirvais about the dynamics of the spread of neo-Nazism in the modern world, Assistant Rector for Security A.I. Saltanov and many other teachers and students of KSMU.
The participants of the conference did not just discuss: the students immersed themselves in the topic as much as possible - they explored the history and causes of the terrible phenomenon, the psychological origins, the social prerequisites of Nazism.
