Вот уже на протяжении 16 лет в стенах КГМУ проводится акция, посвящённая Всемирному дню памяти людей, умерших от СПИДа.  Основная цель акции - почтить память тех, чьи жизни унес ВИЧ/СПИД, а так же привлечь внимание общественности к данной проблеме.
13 мая в главном корпусе КГМУ волонтеры отряда «STOP-СПИД» совместно со специалистами Центра профилактики и борьбы со СПИД ОБУЗ «Курская областная многопрофильная клиническая больница» провели акцию, посвящённую Всемирному дню памяти людей, умерших от СПИДа. В рамках акции был проведен анкетный опрос с целью выявления знаний у участников акции о путях передачи ВИЧ-инфекции. 
 Участникам акции раздавались красные ленты, памятки, магниты, значки, на которых содержалась информация о ВИЧ/СПИДе, адреса и телефоны медицинской организации, где можно сдать тест на ВИЧ.

RED RIBBON - #STOPHIV/AIDS

For the past 16 years, an action dedicated to the World Day of Remembrance of People who Died of AIDS has been held within the walls of KSMU. The main purpose of the action is to honor the memory of those whose lives were taken by HIV/AIDS, as well as to draw public attention to this problem.
On May 13, in the main building of KSMU, volunteers of the STOP-AIDS detachment together with specialists of the Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS of the Kursk Regional Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital held an action dedicated to the World Day of Remembrance of People Who Died of AIDS. As part of the action, a questionnaire  was held in order to identify the knowledge of the participants about the ways of HIV transmission.
Participants of the action were given red ribbons, memos, magnets, badges, which contained information about HIV/AIDS, addresses and phone numbers of the medical organization where you can take an HIV test.
