6 июля отмечается Всемирный День кардиолога!

Кардиолог — это специалист, с которым рано или поздно сталкиваются все люди, ведь около 90% заболеваний в современном мире связано с состоянием и работой сердца. Он занимается изучением, диагностикой, исследованиями и лечением заболеваний, связанных с патологией сердечно-сосудистой системы.

Эту дату на рубеже XX-XXI веков обозначила Всемирная Ассоциация здравоохранения.  Благодаря ее появлению в медицинском календаре во всех странах мира стала проводиться серьезная просветительская работа, что позволило узнать человечеству больше о заболеваниях сердечно-сосудистой системы, помогло лучше осознать опасность болезней сердца и, возможно, даже спасти чью-то жизнь.

По словам известного кардиолога, доктора медицинских наук, профессора, заведующего кафедрой внутренних болезней №2 КГМУ Вадима Петровича Михина, кардиология – это ведущая отрасль медицины. На нее возложена задача снижения смертности населения. Ведь известно, сердечно-сосудистые заболевания – причина подавляющего большинства летальных исходов.

- В условиях опасности коронавируса, роль врачей-кардиологов возрастает еще больше. Вирус COVID-19 поражает сосудистую систему, при этом значительно возрастает число миокардитов, артериальных тромбозов, инфарктов и инсультов даже у молодых людей, – отмечает Вадим Петрович Михин. – Задача грамотного кардиолога – не только назначить адекватное лечение, но и найти подход к пациенту, добиться, чтобы у больного сформировалась самостоятельная приверженность к лечению. Пациент должен стать не пассивным объектом врачевания, а деятельным помощником доктора.

According to the famous cardiologist, doctor of medical sciences, professor, head of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 2 of KSMU Vadim Petrovich Mikhin, cardiology is the leading branch of medicine. It is entrusted with the task of reducing the mortality rate of the population. After all, it is known that cardiovascular diseases are the cause of the vast majority of deaths.

- In the face of the danger of coronavirus, the role of cardiologists is increasing even more. The COVID-19 virus affects the vascular system, while the number of myocarditis, arterial thrombosis, heart attacks and strokes, even in young people, increases significantly, '' says Vadim Petrovich Mikhin. - The task of a competent cardiologist is not only to prescribe adequate treatment, but also to find an approach to the patient, to ensure that the patient develops an independent adherence to treatment. The patient should not become a passive object of treatment, but an active assistant to the doctor.
