20 июля 2017 г. Курский государственный медицинский университет  посетила делегация Технологического университета Эквадора совместно с представителями Юго-западного государственного университета. В состав делегации Технологического университета Эквадора входили: ректор Технологического университета Эквадора профессор Рикардо Идальго Оттоленги и директор медицинского центра при Технологическом университетеПаломекеАгирреКайетаноОсвальдо. Со стороны Курского государственного медицинского университета в мероприятии принимали участие:  ректор КГМУ, заслуженный врач Российской Федерации, депутат Курской областной Думы, доктор медицинских наук, профессор В.А. Лазаренко; проректор по непрерывному образованию и международному сотрудничеству профессор И.Г. Комиссинская, проректор по научной работе и инновационному развитию профессор П.В. Ткаченко, проректор по лечебной работе и взаимодействию с клиническими базами профессор И.Г. Хмелевская, заведующая кафедрой фармакологии профессор Г.С. Маль, заведующий кафедрой внутренних болезней №2 профессор В.П. Михин, заведующий кафедрой клинической фармакологии профессор С.В. Поветкин,начальник управления по международным связям Ю.Ш. Иобидзе и начальник общего отдела управления по международным связям Е.Н. Седых.

Во время визита члены делегации посетили НИИ генетической и молекулярной эпидемиологии КГМУ. Сотрудниками НИИ были подробно освещены возможности научных исследований, проводимых в направлении биохимической генетики и метаболомики геномных разработок, а также генетических исследований в разрезе статистики и биоинформатики. Неподдельный интерес у наших коллег из Эквадора вызвало оснащение НИИ. Господин Рикардо Идальго Оттоленги отметил высокий мировой уровень оборудования и высказал пожелания о проведении совместных исследований в этом направлении науки. 

На встрече, проходившей в конференц-зале КГМУ, ректор Технологического университета Эквадора господинРикардо Идальго Оттоленгирассказал о своем университете и о медицинском факультете, о достижениях, проблемах и планах развития подготовки медицинских специалистов. Обсуждение актуальных аспектов исследований, проводимых на базеТехнологического университета Эквадора в области кардиологии и клинической фармакологии с учетом демографических особенностей и состояния здоровья граждан Эквадора, прошло в форме настоящей научной дискуссии. Члены делегации выразили заинтересованность в развитии разностороннего сотрудничества между Технологическим университетом Эквадора и КГМУ в сфере академического обмена студентами и научно-педагогическими работниками, повышения квалификации преподавателей Эквадора на базе КГМУ, проведения совместных исследований, в том числе в рамках выполнения диссертационных работ.

On the 20th of July, 2017 Kursk state medical university was visited by the delegation of Equinox University of Technology (UTE) of Ecuador together with the representatives of South-west state university. The delegation of Equinox University of Technology of Ecuador included the rector of the university Ricardo Hidalgo Ottolenghi and the head of the medical center under the university CayetanoPalomeque Aguirre Osvaldo.  Kursk state medical university was represented by the rector of KSMU, honored physician of the Russian Federation, Deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, Doctor of Medicine, professor V.A. Lazarenko, the vice-rector for continuous education and international cooperation professor I.G. Komissinskaya, the vice-rector for research and innovation development professor P.V. Tkachenko, the vice-rector for clinical work and interaction with the clinical bases professor I.G. Khmelevskaya, the head of the Pharmacology department professor G.S. Mal,  the head of the Internal diseases department #2 professor V.P. Mikhin, the head of the Clinical Pharmacology department professor S.V. Povetkin,  the head of the administration for international relations Yu. Sh. Iobidze and the head of the general affairs department of the administration for international relations E.N. Sedykh.

During the visit the delegation members visited the Research Institute of genetic and molecular epidemiology of KSMU.  Research possibilities of scientific investigations conducted in the area of biochemical genetics and metabolomics of genome developments as well as genetic investigations in statistics and bioinformatics were explained in detail by the staff of the Institute. The equipment of the Institute was of special interest for our colleagues from Ecuador.   Mr. Ricardo Hidalgo Ottolenghi noted a high world level of the equipment and expressed a wish to conduct mutual investigations in this area of science.

At the meeting that took place in the conference hall of our university the rector of the Technological University of Ecuador Mr. Ricardo Hidalgo Ottolenghitold about his university and the faculty of medicine, about the achievements, problems and prospects of development of training of healthcare specialists. The discussion of the actual aspects of scientific investigations conducted on the basis of the Technological University, in the field of cardiology and clinical pharmacology considering demographic peculiarities and state of health of the Ecuador population was of great interest in the participants of the meeting. The delegation members expressed interest in development of diverse cooperation between Equinox University of Technologyof  Ecuador and KSMU in the sphere of academic exchange of students and teaching staff, advanced training of the teachers from Ecuador on the base of KSMU, conducting collaborative study including thesis papers.
