Joyous Celebration The 41st  Graduation of International Faculty of KSMU

     The International Faculty of KSMU celebrated its 41^st Graduation day on Thursday the 11^th July 2019 in its campus.  The celebrations begins with the academic procession in which leads by the Rector of Kursk State Medical University, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, Honorary citizen of the city of Kursk, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko, followed by The Dean of the International Faculty, Professor Yury D. Lyashev , Red Diplomas graduands the rest of the proud 41^st batch graduands complete in their  academic cap and gown. 

     In this ceremony, 194 graduands received their degrees in the specialty "General Medicine". The graduands came from 14 different countries such as India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Namibia, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Yemen, Syria, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.

     The celebration was also honours by the presence of the Deputy Governor of Kursk Region; Doctor of Economic Sciences Professor Ekaterina V. Kharchenko, Acting Chairman of the Committee on the Development of Foreign Relations of the Administration of the Kursk Region; Svetlana A. Dorosh, Head of the department for family affairs and demographic policy, protection of motherhood and childhood of the Kursk city Administration Elena A. Timofejeva,  Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and General Issues Pavel V. Kalutsky; Vice-Rector for Research and Innovative Development Pavel V. Tkachenko;, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Social Development and Public Relations; Tatyana A. Shulgina, Head of the International Relations Department; Yuri Sh. Iobidze, Deputy Dean of International Faculty, Associate Professor; Galina N. Goryainova, Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology PGE, Doctor of Medical Sciences; Professor Anna B. Huraseva, Professor of the Department of Internal Diseases No.2; Igor A. Sarayev.

     The Rector of KSMU, Professor V.A. Lazarenko welcomed all the dignitaries, invitees, parents and graduands. He also congratulated the graduands and their parents on obtaining diplomas of a Physician. He wished them to treat their profession responsibly, advised them to love patients,  reminded them that medicine is a continuous learning all their life and hope the graduands will remember their teachers and their Alma Mater. In his speech he also pointed out that the graduands have made a right decision to study in KSMU as one of the proof that is KSMU being the 1^st place among medical universities in Russia according to Forbes. 

     On behalf of our department; Professor Anna B. Huraseva given speech for the graduands. She bantered with saying that it will be her last lecture session with them and it’s a mini lecture. The crowd was exited and felt her warm pleasantry. She reminded them the foundation of medical discipline. The graduands applaud happily knowing they are being celebrated.The Dean of the International Faculty, Professor Yury D. Lyashev then declared the graduation day closed.
