«SMART-ПРОФИЛАКТИКА ОНКОЛОГИЧЕСКИХ ЗАБОЛЕВАНИЙ В ГИНЕКОЛОГИИ»

"SMART PREVENTION OF ONCOLOGICAL DISEASES IN GYNECOLOGY"

On the 16th February 2023, a conference was held at the university’s Anatomical Theatre. The conference was an exchange of latest information regarding "SMART PREVENTION OF ONCOLOGICAL DISEASES IN GYNECOLOGY".  The event was organised by KSMU in collaboration with the Health Committee of the Kursk region and the Regional Budgetary Health Care Institution “Kursk Oncological Research and Clinical Center named after V.I. G.E. Ostroverkhov”.

The purpose of the event is to introduce modern technologies into the clinical practice of obstetricians, gynaecologists and oncologists to improve the effectiveness of early diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive measures in patients with oncological diseases of the female reproductive system.

20 presentations in total were delivered during the conference by respected specialists such as our own Head of Department; Prof. Lazareva Galina Anatolievna. She delivered her presentation under the title “Diseases of the cervix and vulva: parity between optimal management and cancer awareness”. Participants will be able to draw up a survey plan and have a differential approach to the choice of tactics in women with Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia and dystrophic diseases of the vulva. The material presents the significance of the co-factors of cervical carcinogenesis, paying great attention to the inflammatory factor, the association of bacterial infection with HPV and the risk of disease progression. 

Join together with our Head of Department, 3 of our specialist also contributed into the event with their presentation. Dr. Maltseva Alla Nikolaevna, presented “Oncological Aspects of Endometrial Hyperplastic Processes After COVID-19”, Associate Professor Medvedeva Irina Nikolaevna, presented “Endometrial Hyperplastic Processes. Therapy Options” and Professor Khuraseva Anna Borisovna,presented “Mastopathy - Risk Factors and Prevention”.

The event was further enriched by 5 contributions apart from Kursk Region; Professor Belyakovsky Vasily Nikolaevich, Department of Oncology, GSMU, Gomel, Andrianova Natalya Leonidovna, Assistant of the Department of Oncology, GSMU, Gomel, Associate Professor Zakharenkova Tatyana Nikolaevna, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology GSMU, Gomel, Dobrenko Alexandra Alekseevna, oncologist, TulaRegional Clinical Oncological Dispensary, Tula,  Professor Negmatullaeva Mastura Nurullaevna, Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino, Bukhara and from Tajikistan National Oncology Centre.

During the conference, besides obstetrician-gynaecologists, oncologists, general practitioners, healthcare organizers, radiologists, who were present in the KSMU’s Anatomical Theatre, via zoom was also our international students of 5th and 6th year were able to gain knowledge and interesting new information. Around 150 specialists and audience were recorded presence via zoom which makes up to 200 in total of participations.
