TRAINING TOMORROW'S PROFESSIONALS TODAY

Approaching the end of the academic year, the Olympiad on Pharmacology was

held from the 25th to the 26th of May 2022 at the Department of Pharmacology for the 3'd year students of International Medical Faculty.

The competition consisted of three rounds. 25 students participated in the first round, whose knowledge were assessed by computer testing. On the second round, a crossword puzzle was handed out to certifu understanding about drug groups, drug names, their indications and actions. The third and the last round comprised clinical tasks. The final results were:

l't place - Aishath Raya Nashid, gr.3

2nd place - Ungku Aminah Naqiyah Binti Ungku Fadzil, gr.7

3'd place was shared by ilva Lima Julia gr.2.

The Olympiad provided an opportunity for students to fully demonstrate their knowledge in Pharmacology (that were getting during academic year) in clinical situations, as well as, the development of skills necessary for independent working and creative thinking.
