TRAINING TOMORROW’S PROFESSIONALS TODAY!
Approaching the end of the academic year, the Olympiad on Pharmacology was held on the May, 2017 at the Department of Pharmacology for the 3rd year 6 semester students of International Faculty.
The competition consisted of three rounds. Students who participated in the first round showed their knowledge that were assessed by computer testing. On the second round, a crossword puzzle was handed out to certify understanding about drug groups, drug names, their indications and actions. The third and the last round comprised clinical tasks. The final results were:
1st place – Hajisalah Husna, gr.5
2nd place – Adebayo Olukayode Sunday Emmanuel, gr.5
The Olympiad provided an opportunity for students to fully demonstrate their knowledge in Pharmacology (that were getting during academic year) in clinical situations, as well as, the development of skills necessary for independent working and creative thinking.
