TEA IN THE MULTI-NATIONAL TRADITIONS

On the December, 2025 an event took place dedicated to the Internatonal Tea Day. A group of students studying in third year from the International Medical Institute had taken part in this event organized by Department of Pharmacology. We looked at the beneficial and harmful pharmacological effects of different types of tea around the world.

An International Tea Day has been celebrated on December, since 2005, in tea producing countries like India,  Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Ugandaand Tanzania.  International Tea Day highlights the worldwide love for tea and its positive impacts, from health benefits to cultural significance. It's a day to enjoy and learn about the history and diversity of this beloved beverage.

Step aside, coffee and Coca Cola, for International Tea Day on December, we drink the most popular beverage in the world.
