TRAINING TOMORROW'S PROFESSIONALS TODAY

Approaching the end of the academic year, the Olympiad on Pharmacology was

held from the 19 to the 20 of May 2025 at the Department of Pharmacology for the 3'd year students of International Medical Faculty.

The competition consisted of three rounds. 18 students participated in the first round, whose knowledge were assessed by computer testing. In the second round, a crossword puzzle was distributed to confirm understanding of drug groups, names of drugs, their indications and effects. The third and the last round comprised clinical tasks. The final results were:

l't place -     Hossain seikh sharukh, gr.1

2nd place - Agarwal Ronak, gr.16

3'd place -  Murugesan Maha Lakshmi, gr.13 

The Olympiad provided an opportunity for students to fully demonstrate their knowledge in Pharmacology (that were getting during academic year) in clinical situations, as well as, the development of skills necessary for independent working and creative thinking. I would like to especially mention the winner of the Olympiad - Hossain seikh sharukh,  who showed brilliant knowledge.
