WORLD HEALTH DAY AT THE DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY

We all know that health is the most valuable thing we have in life! To remind the public about this and draw attention to the most pressing issues, Health Day has been celebrated around the world every April 7th since 1950. Every year on this day, which is held under the auspices of the United Nations and other international non-governmental organizations, health issues are raised, which are of the most concern to the world community at this stage.

On April 8, 2025, Kursk State Medical University hosted a regular meeting of the student scientific circle of the Department of Pharmacology dedicated to this important holiday.

The 3rd year students of the International Medical Institute of KSMU made presentations on the prevention of bad habits, risk factors for the development of socially significant diseases and measures to combat them.

The event aroused the interest and understanding of the relevance of the topic among students, because no matter how perfect medicine is, it cannot rid everyone of all diseases. A person is the creator of his own health, which sometimes even has to be fought for. A person's health is more than 50% determined by their lifestyle. Health is life itself, with its joys and worries.
