Форум собрал более 1700 участков со всей России и других стран. Среди них- руководители профильных стационаров и федеральных центров, опытные и молодые врачи, а также специалисты смежных специальностей.
Программа мероприятия была крайне насыщенной и охватывала актуальные темы детской хирургии, прозвучало более 100 докладов.
Делегацию Курской области представили ректор, преподаватели и ординаторы Курского государственного медицинского университета.

Работу симпозиума «Трудный случай в детской хирургии» модерировал ректор КГМУ, заведующий кафедрой детской хирургии и педиатрии Института непрерывного образования, д.м.н., доцент Василий Петрович Гаврилюк.

В рамках симпозиума «Неотложная абдоминальная хирургия» с докладом на тему «Лапароскопический адгезиолизис при завороте подвздошной кишки и врождённых спайках у подростка» выступил доцент кафедры детской хирургии и педиатрии ИНО, к м.н. Дмитрий Андреевич Северинов. В докладе были представлены результаты терапии ребенка с редким пороком развития ЖКТ, который находился на лечении на базе Курской областной детской клинической больницы (главный врач, к.м.н. И.В. Зоря).

В рамках форума также традиционно прошёл конкурс молодых учёных памяти В.М. Державина. Ординатор первого года кафедры детской хирургии и педиатрии ИНО по специальности "Детская хирургия" Заднепровский Алексей Сергеевич представил доклад на тему «Комплексное исследование тканевой реакции макроорганизма как критерий выбора полимерных мембран для профилактики спайкообразования», научный руководитель работы - к.м.н., доцент, доцент кафедры Северинов Д.А.
По итогам конкурса доклад был удостоен почётного второго места.

 KSMU at the XXV Forum of Pediatric Surgeons

From October 15 to 17, 2026, the XXV Forum of the Russian Association of Pediatric Surgeons with international participation was held at the Vega Izmailovo Congress Center in Moscow. It is one of the largest events in pediatric surgery, held annually since 2002.

 The forum brought together more than 1,700 participants from across Russia and other countries, including heads of specialized hospitals and federal medical centers, experienced and young physicians, as well as specialists in related fields.

 The event featured an extensive scientific program covering current issues in pediatric surgery, with more than 100 presentations delivered.

 The Kursk Region was represented by a delegation from Kursk State Medical University, including the university rector, faculty members, and residents.

 The symposium “Challenging Cases in Pediatric Surgery” was moderated by Vasily Petrovich Gavrilyuk, Rector of KSMU, Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics at the Institute of Continuing Education, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Associate Professor.

 At the symposium “Emergency Abdominal Surgery,” Dmitry Andreevich Severinov, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics of the Institute of Continuing Education, presented a report entitled “Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis for Ileal Volvulus and Congenital Adhesions in an Adolescent.” The presentation covered the treatment outcomes of a patient with a rare congenital gastrointestinal malformation who had been treated at the Kursk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital (Chief Physician, Candidate of Medical Sciences, I. V. Zorya).

 The forum also traditionally hosted the V. M. Derzhavin Young Scientists Competition. Alexey Sergeevich Zadneprovsky, a first-year resident in Pediatric Surgery at the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics of the Institute of Continuing Education, presented a report entitled “A Comprehensive Study of Host Tissue Response as a Criterion for Selecting Polymer Membranes for the Prevention of Adhesion Formation.” The research was supervised by Dmitry A. Severinov, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department.

The presentation was awarded second place in the competition.
