On December 11, 2024, a joint Interdepartmental multidisciplinary meeting of student scientific circles of the Department of Microbiology, Virology, Immunology, Department of Dermatovenereology, Department of Pharmacy Organization and Management took place, which has already become a good tradition, dedicated to the urgent problem of modern society "Mycoses".

The following reports were heard during the meeting:

1. "General characteristics of mycoses and their pathogens"

Speakers: Litvinova Sofia Andreevna, Romanov Nikita Alekseevich (3rd year students of the medical faculty, group 14)

2. "Skin manifestations of AIDS"

Speakers: Senchenko Darya Sergeevna, Shevchenko Darya Vitalievna (4th year students of the medical faculty, group 17)

3. "Pharmacoeconomic studies of medical and drug care for patients with onychomycosis"

Speakers: Sumanova Anzhelika Igorevna (1st year resident physician, Department of Dermatovenereology), Bolotova Maria Yuryevna (5th year student, Faculty of Pharmacy, 3rd group)

Scientific supervisor: Head of the Department of Dermatovenereology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Silina L.V.; Head of the Department of Pharmacy Organization and Management, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Ovod A.I.

The meeting was attended by students of the medical, pediatric, pharmaceutical faculties, as well as students of the International Medical Institute.

The members of the circle and guests of the meeting actively participated in the discussion of the problem of fungal diseases in modern society. Professor Larisa Vyacheslavovna Silina emphasized that mycoses are of great interest due to the diversity of not only the pathogens and the clinical picture they cause, but mainly due to their tendency to spread, due to their high contagiousness.
