25 ноября 2017 года Курский государственный медицинский университет посетила делегация Посольства Индии в Российской Федерации в составе Министра образования Алок Радж и Атташе отдела образования Суман Кришан Кауль.

В рамках визита гости из Посольства Индии встретились с ректором КГМУ, заслуженным врачом Российской Федерации, депутатом Курской областной Думы, доктором медицинских наук, профессором В.А. Лазаренко. Во встрече также приняли участие почетный консул Демократической Социалистической Республики Шри-Ланка в Курске, советник при ректорате М.Т. Шехине и начальник управления по международным связям Ю.Ш. Иобидзе. В ходе встречи были обсуждены вопросы  развития двухсторонних отношений и сотрудничества в сфере образования между Курским государственным медицинским университетом и Посольством Индии в Российской Федерации, вопросы академической успеваемости студентов, соблюдения ими локальных актов университета, улучшения социально-бытовых условий проживания студентов.

Вечером того же дня делегация Посольства Индии приняла участие в качестве почетных гостей в концерте индийской культуры, состоявшемся в фармацевтическом корпусе КГМУ.

Программа концерта включала вокальные и танцевальные номера, представляющие культурное разнообразие Индии и демонстрирующие таланты студентов.  В выступлениях участвовали студенты международного факультета не только из Индии, но и из Нигерии, Шри-Ланки, Малайзии, что свидетельствует об укреплении культурных связей между странами.

On November 25, 2017 the delegation of the Embassy of India to the Russian Federation, represented by the Education Minister Mr. Alok Raj and the Attache of the Education Department Mr. Suman Krishan Kaul, visited the Kursk state medical university.

As part of the visit the guests from the Embassy of India met with the Rector of KSMU, honored physician of the Russian Federation, Deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, Doctor of Medicine, professor V.A. Lazarenko. The Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Kursk, the rectorate advisor Chahine Mohamad Tufik and the head of the Administration for International Relations Yu.Sh. Iobidze also took part in the meeting. In the course of the meeting there were discussed the issues of developing bilateral relations and cooperation in education between the Kursk state medical university and the Embassy of India to the Russian Federation, the issues of the students’ academic performance, compliance with the university local acts, improvement of the social and living conditions of the students.

Later on the same day the delegation of the Embassy of India took part – as guests of honour – in the concert of Indian culture, which took place at the pharma corpus of KSMU.

The concert featured vocal and dance performances displaying the cultural diversity of India and showing the talents of the students. Among the performers there were international faculty students representing not only India, but also Nigeria, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia, which speaks for the strengthening of the cultural ties between the countries.
