15 июля 2023 года преподаватели ММИ КГМУ Озерова Е.Н., Лунева М.К. и Шумакова А.М. провели для иностранных обучающихся обзорную пешеходную экскурсию по историческим местам областного центра «Курск и куряне», на которой студенты из Малайзии, Ботсваны, Шри-Ланки и других стран познакомились с архитектурными красотами города и узнали об известных личностях нашего края.

Экскурсия началась на площади Перекальского, на которой располагаются КГМУ и Курская государственная филармония, перед входом которой установлена аллея славы - бюсты 4-х знаменитых земляков, посвятивших свою жизнь искусству. В ходе экскурсии обучающиеся узнали о таких известных курянах, как Евгений Носов, Константин Воробьев, Катя Зеленко, Георгий Свиридов. Кроме того, студенты увидели здание первого Государственного банка в Курске, музыкальный колледж им. Свиридова, здание Курско-Рыльской епархии, Театральную площадь, Сергиево-Казанский собор, Красную площадь и узнали много нового об истории города, в котором сейчас живут и учатся.

WALK AROUND THE HISTORIC CENTER OF KURSK
On July 15, 2023, the teachers of the International Medical Institute of Kursk State Medical University, Ozerova E.N., Luneva M.K., and Shumakova A.M., conducted a comprehensive walking tour of the historical sites of the regional center "Kursk and its residents" for foreign students. Students from Malaysia, Botswana, Sri Lanka, and other countries had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the architectural beauty of the city and learn about the famous personalities of our region.

The excursion started at Perekalsky Square, where Kursk State Medical University and Kursk State Philharmonic are located. In front of the entrance to the Philharmonic, there is an alley of fame with busts of 4 famous locals who dedicated their lives to art. During the tour, students learned about famous residents of Kursk such as Evgeny Nosov, Konstantin Vorobyov, Katya Zelenko, and Georgy Sviridov. In addition, the students saw the building of the first State Bank in Kursk, the Sviridov Music College, the building of Kursk-Rylsk Diocese, the Theater Square, the Sergius-Kazan Cathedral, the Red Square, and learned a lot of new information about the history of the city where they currently live and study.
