На Театральную площадь в этот день пришли представители региональной и городской администраций, депутаты Государственной Думы и Курской областной Думы, партий, учреждений, вузов нашего города. Делегация Курского государственного медицинского университета, возглавляемая   ректором профессором Виктором Анатольевичем Лазаренко, несмотря на сложные погодные условия, была многочисленной – около четырехсот человек. Студенты КГМУ пришли с российскими «триколорами» и флагами с символикой университета.

-  Сегодня исторический момент для Донбасса, Луганска, Запорожской и Херсонской областей, России и всего русского мира. Референдум- это законный выбор своего будущего, будущего для своих детей и внуков. А если вспомнить историю, то в нашей стране всегда действует правило «когда мы едины, когда мы сплачиваемся в трудные минуты, мы-непобедимы». Сегодня здесь собрались сотни курян, среди них студенты и преподаватели нашего медицинского университета.   «Это подтверждение того, что мы всецело поддерживаем политику Президента нашей страны и выбор братского нам народа», - сказал Виктор Анатольевич.

Открыли митинг гимном Российской Федерации, который исполнил хор Курского музыкального колледжа имени Г.В. Свиридова, им подпевали участники мероприятия.  Далее прозвучали выступления спикеров митинга: депутатов государственной и областной думы, представителей партий и организаций.

RECTOR AND STUDENTS OF KSMU PARTICIPATED IN THE RALLY IN SUPPORT OF THE REFERENDUM ON JOINING THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF THE LUGANSK AND DONETSK PEOPLE 'S REPUBLICS, ZAPOROZHYE AND KHERSON REGIONS OF UKRAINE

Representatives of regional and city administrations, deputies of the State Duma and Kursk regional Duma, parties, institutions, higher education institutions of our city came to Teatralnaya Square on this day. The delegation of Kursk State Medical University, headed by the rector, Professor Viсtor Anatolyevich Lazarenko, despite the difficult weather conditions, was numerous – about four hundred people. KSMU students came with Russian "tricolors" and flags with the symbols of the university.

-  Today is a historic moment for Donbass, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, Russia and the entire Russian world. A referendum is a legitimate choice of one's own future, a future for one's own children and grandchildren. And if to remember history, there has always been the following rule in our country - "when we are united, when we stick together in difficult moments, we are invincible". Today, hundreds of Kursk citizens have gathered here, students and teachers of our medical university are among them. "This is the confirmation that we fully support the policy of the President of our country and the choice of our fraternal people," said Viсtor Anatolyevich.

The rally was opened by the anthem of the Russian Federation, which was performed by the choir of Kursk Music College named after G.V. Sviridov, and the participants of the event joined in singing. Than, deputies of the State and Regional Duma, representatives of parties and organizations spoke at the rally.
