On September 24, 2026, an interdepartmental meeting of the Scientific Student Society was held by two departments: the Department of Pharmacy Organization and Management and the Department of Economics and Management. Under the supervision of Acting Head of the Department of Economics and Management, Associate Professor O.V. Vlasova, and Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy Organization and Management, N.M. Sergeeva, the students prepared presentations on current issues of quality management in healthcare. The presentations focused on the topic of the meeting: “Implementation of Quality Management Tools in the Activities of a Healthcare Organization.”

1. Anastasia Maksimovna Leontyeva. Modern Concepts and Models of Quality Management in Healthcare: Theoretical and Practical Aspects (based on the example of “Dantistoff” dental clinic, Moscow) (3rd-year student, Faculty of Dentistry).
2. Viktoria Ivanovna Kobzarenko. Assessment and Development of Human Resources as an Element of the Structural Quality of a Medical Organization (based on the example of Labinsk Dental Clinic, Krasnodar Krai) (3rd-year student, Faculty of Dentistry).
3. Veronika Nikolaevna Strebizh. Analysis of Labor Costs within the Employee Motivation System of an Organization (based on the example of the KSMU University Clinic, Dentistry) (4th-year student, Faculty of Economics and Management).

In their presentations, the speakers emphasized that providing high-quality and accessible medical care to the population is one of the priorities of state policy. Using examples of healthcare organizations, the speakers explained in detail how modern quality management tools are used in practical dentistry. They also identified the strengths and weaknesses of these activities and suggested possible ways to improve certain quality management processes.

During the discussion, the participants showed great interest in the practical implementation of various quality management tools in healthcare, including the A. Donabedian model, the Deming Cycle (PDCA), the process approach, risk-based thinking, and quality management principles (ISO 9001:2015), among others. Students of the Moscow Medical Institute also took part in the discussion.
