The 90th International Scientific Conference of students and young scientists "Youth Science and Modernity" was held at Kursk State Medical University on April 23-25, 2025. The Department of Economics and Management held a breakout session "Relevant issues of Economics and Management" in Russian and English. Moderator of the Russian-language sub-section, associate professor of the Economics and Management Department, Bushina N.S., made a welcoming speech in which she outlined the purpose of the conference and the importance of involving students in solving urgent problems of modern science. The breakout session was attended by students of the Economics and Management faculty, the faculty of Clinical Psychology, and Medical faculty. The presented reports were accompanied by thematic multimedia presentations. The participants asked questions, debated, and defended their own point of view. According to the results of the work, the expert commission awarded the best performances. The winners were: Daria Fetisova, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management (first degree diploma), Yulia Savenkova, 1st year student of the Faculty of Clinical Psychology (second degree diploma), Marina Lysenko, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management (third degree diploma). In conclusion, associate professor of the department Bushina N.S. and associate professor Reprintseva E.V. noted the high practical significance of the conducted research and thanked the speakers for interesting, informative, rich in depth methodological analysis reports.

The moderator of the subsection "Relevant issues of healthcare economy and management" in Englisg was the acting Head of the Department of Economics and Management, associate professor Vlasova O.V. The reports were presented by 1st year students of the International Medical Institute. The socio-economic aspects of various diseases in Russia and abroad were highlighted, issues of the use of digital technologies in healthcare, as well as the role of genetic engineering in the development of various sectors of the economy were discussed. The participants of the breakout session (students of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Economics and Management) actively asked the speakers questions, discussed, exchanged opinions, and compared the experience of different countries. All the presented reports were carried out at a high scientific level and received a positive assessment from experts (associate professor Vlasova O.V. and associate professor Belyaev S.A.). The winners were: Pal Samadrita (first degree diploma), Limje Dhruti (second degree diploma), Sharma Keshav (third degree diploma).
